Anybody had this problem with Vista know what to do. ??

Hello,

I'm running version 6 software with a DL90. 
My old laptop quit and the new laptop has vista and will not download data. 
I keep getting the error that it can connect, turn off and check to make sure it is connected. 
I am using everything on my desktop with Vista. 
I have checked and the device manager and it says the usb / serial adapter is installed correctly. 
I am using the latest driver for the usb adapter. 
I have made sure the software is correctly configured with the software. 
I have tried several different com ports. 
The device manager does not do anything else using the com port. 
Anybody had this problem with Vista know what to do. I can not get any answer because it's a port issue. 
So I now have a worthless DL90 unless someone can give me some help.

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.

It made me feel better. I have a couple of ladies I work with who are telling me the same thing. I am going to just get it home and do what it says. Now, I have a newer HP printer/copier/scanner and I hope it will work with Vista dino game. Surely it will.
